Who We Are?
Our Mission and Progress
Since 2023, with the support of partners like ANew Mind Body Connect LLC, Salvation Army, Food for the Poor, The Lions Club, Sagicor Group, Portland Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund (NHF), and Courts Optical, we have successfully hosted annual health fairs and symposiums that have made a meaningful impact on our community. These events have served our community each year in numerous impactful ways, including:
Conducting over 850 medical and optical screenings 500.
Distributing over 800 blood pressure and glucose monitors, alongside 12,000 glucose test strips.
Educating 350 individuals in CPR, and offering mental health workshops to help over 250 attendees recognize mental health indicators.
Distributing over 750 food packages and providing free hot lunches for all attendees.
Our Goals for 2026
In 2026, we aim to broaden our outreach through medical and vision screenings, distribution of blood pressure monitors and
glucose test strips, food packages, and hygiene essentials. We will also offer wellness education, women’s health workshops,
CPR training, skills training workshop and career guidance.
Additionally, our 2026 initiative includes supporting the new Portland Drop-in Centre in Port Antonio by providing essential items
to make the center fully operational. This vital resource offers shelter, meals, and critical services to individuals in need. We
invite you to review the Drop-in Centre and Health Fair donation list to contribute in any way you can. Each year, we strive to
deepen our impact and strengthen our community.
