Since 2023, with the support of partners like ANew Mind Body Connect LLC, Salvation Army, Food for the Poor, The Lions Club, Sagicor Group, Portland Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund (NHF), and Courts Optical, we have successfully hosted annual health fairs and symposiums that have made a meaningful impact on our community. These events have served our community each year in numerous impactful ways, including:
Conducting over 250 medical and optical screenings.
Distributing over 250 blood pressure and glucose monitors, alongside 5,000 glucose test strips.
Educating 100 individuals in CPR, and offering mental health workshops to help over 250 attendees recognize mental health indicators.
Distributing over 500 food packages and providing free hot lunches for all attendees.
In 2025, we aim to expand our outreach with medical screenings, wellness workshops, youth mentorship, and distributions of essential items like blood pressure monitors, food packages, and hygiene necessities. We hope to support the local hospital and infirmary further, building on the services we provided and deepening our impact within the community.
